The Take Along Thomas “Tidmouth Roundhouse” is one of Nolyn’s favorite toys. I never thought we would buy this, because all of his Thomas toys were either Trackmaster or wooden tracks. If you haven’t seen the “take along” series by Learning Curve, basically it’s a bunch of mini-thomas trains and track. Most of the sets are designed to have a scenario in a foldable box (where the trains go inside). It’s great for the car, taking on overnights and playdates – it’s a great portable way to play with Thomas trains. The thing is, you’re buying “yet another” version of Thomas trains.
The reason we ended up getting this set, was because Nolyn has been wanting “Tidmouth Sheds” for a very long time – and we keep putting it off, since it’s some $200. If you buy the take along version of Tidmouth (the Roundhouse), you can get it usually around $30 or less! Plus – you get a thomas you can take with you on trips!
