BRIO Smart Warning Wooden Train Tracks

I know that Wooden trains have probably been around for centuries, and the great thing about them is the fact that (unlike some of their plastic counterparts) they can last for generations. Wooden trains also often leave a lot to the imagination and kids play a bit differently with them. I was kind of surprised to see these smart tracks from Brio – they have a sensor in them that alerts the matching Smart Reader engine, and when it hits this track – it actually slows down for a bit, and then resumes to full speed, much like a normal train would. Awesome! I might just have to order this one for Nolyn right away – we don’t have it just yet!

Thomas and Friends Wooden Railway – George

George is a tractor – once of Nolyn’s favorite wooden trains to play with! The front is kind of like a streamroller, and George is green like a John Deere tractor. He’s in quite a few of the older Thomas and Friends videos (remember when they were on video tape? We still have quite a few…).
